Guys , I am in need of help on matrices, midpoint of a line, long division and reducing fractions. Since I am a novice to Algebra 1, I really want to understand the basics of Remedial Algebra fully . Can anyone recommend the best place from where I can begin reading the basics? I have a midterm next week. |

I possibly could help you if you can be more specific and provide details about mathematical rules for summation. A proper software would be best option rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of program I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far found . It solves any math problem that you may want solved. It also explains all the steps (of the solution). You can just write it down as your homework . However, you should use it to learn algebra, and simply not use it to copy answers. |

Algebrator is a nice tool . I have used it a lot. I tried solving the problems myself, at least once before using the software. If I couldn’t solve the question then I used the software to give me the detailed answer . I then used to compare both the answers and correct my mistakes. |

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with ratios, 3x3 system of equations and triangle similarity. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program. |

You must be joking! How can this not be general knowledge or advertised on campus ? How and where might I acquire other information for trying Algebrator? Pardon anyone for appearing to be a tad bit doubtful, but do you think whether or not I can find a test version to exercise this program ? |
