Hi everyone, I heard that there are certain software that can help with us studying ,like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can aid me with algebra ? I have never tried one thus far , but they are probably not hard to use I suppose . If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Remedial Algebra now, so I've been studying things like simplifying exponents and it's not easy at all.
Well I do have a suggestion for you. There used to be time when even I was stuck on questions relating to simplifying exponents, that’s when my younger sister suggested that I should try Algebrator. It didn’t just solve all my queries, but it also explained those solutions in a very nice step-by-step manner. It’s hard to believe but one night I was actually crying because I would miss another assignment deadline, and a couple of days from that I was actually helping my friends with their homework as well. I know how strange it might sound, but really Algebrator helped me a lot.

I remember having problems with mixed numbers, rational inequalities and subtracting exponents. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 1. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
